The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenseman Finn Harding to a three-year entry-level contract, as announced today by President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas.
Harding, 20, has served as an alternate captain for the Brampton Steelheads in the Ontario Hockey League during the 2024-25 season. In 59 games, the 6-foot-2, 192-pound blueliner has tallied seven goals, 48 assists, and a career-best 55 points. His 48 assists set a new single-season record for assists by a defenseman in Steelheads history, while his assist and point totals rank fifth among all defensemen in the league. Additionally, his plus-43 rating places him ninth overall in the league and third among defensemen.
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Harding has played 190 games for the Steelheads over three seasons (2022-25), amassing 19 goals, 80 assists, and 99 points with a plus-90 rating. He has also contributed one goal and two assists in 11 playoff appearances with the team.
