A postseason berth and a possible NFC East title seemed within reach for the Washington Commanders just weeks ago. However, heading into their Week 13 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, those aspirations have faded for Dan Quinn’s squad.

The Commanders are currently on a three-game losing streak, with their recent home loss to the Dallas Cowboys being both unexpected and humiliating. This slump couldn’t have come at a worse time, making it crucial for the team to stop the slide before their bye week.

To make matters worse, they’ll be without running back Austin Ekeler, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering a serious concussion against Dallas. Ekeler had been a key option for quarterback Jayden Daniels. With Brian Robinson Jr. also nursing an ankle sprain, it will be interesting to see how the Commanders’ backfield handles Tennessee’s strong run defense.

Despite the challenges, Quinn remains hopeful. At  7-5 and still clinging onto the final wildcard spot. but with teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers closing in, the pressure is on.

Can the Commanders turn things around and return to form? Or will the Titans, led by second-year quarterback Will Levis, play the role of spoiler?
