The Titans resumed practice at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park on Thanksgiving Day, continuing their preparation for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.
Key updates include cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, who is getting closer to returning to action. Awuzie, practicing for the second time since being placed on the team’s “Designated for Return” list, expressed excitement about rejoining his teammates. Having watched the team’s progress from the sidelines, Awuzie is eager to contribute once fully cleared. He was placed on Injured Reserve in late September due to a groin injury but has now been practicing and believes he’s almost ready for game action.
Injury updates from Thursday’s practice:
- Linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring) did not practice.
- Edge rushers Arden Key (back) and Harold Landry (NIR-Rest) returned to practice after missing Wednesday.
- Cornerback Roger McCreary (knee) participated but was limited.
- Receiver Calvin Ridley (ankle), defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (NIR-Rest), running back Tyjae Spears (concussion), and safety Amani Hooker (illness) were all back in action.
- Tackle Leroy Watson (back) missed practice again.
Additionally, the Commanders released their first injury report on Wednesday.
