Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is considered week-to-week with a Grade 1 MCL sprain, according to an ESPN report on Monday.
Metcalf exited during the fourth quarter of the Seahawks’ 34-14 victory over the Atlanta Falcons after recording four catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. He briefly attempted to jog on the sideline but was later carted off to the locker room.
Following the game, head coach Mike Macdonald mentioned that Metcalf had “banged his knee a little” but said the injury “doesn’t look too bad.”
The 26-year-old has totaled 35 receptions on 61 targets for 568 yards and three touchdowns in seven games (six starts) this season for the Seahawks (4-3).
A two-time Pro Bowler, Metcalf has accumulated 407 catches for 5,900 yards and 46 touchdowns in 89 games (87 starts) since being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Mississippi.
