“Winds of Change: Wests Tigers Set Sail for New Sponsorship Horizon!”

May 11, 2024

The Wests Tigers have bid farewell to a significant partner as they officially confirmed the departure of Brydens Lawyers after the culmination of the 2024 season. The termination of the $1 million sponsorship deal marks the end of a decade-long partnership between the two entities.

The decision to part ways with Brydens Lawyers comes in the wake of significant changes within the club, including the exit of former Wests Tigers Chairman Lee Hagipantelis last year. Hagipantelis, who served as Chairman for four years, was ousted following an internal review of the club’s operations.

“Brydens Lawyers has been a valued partner of Wests Tigers for the past ten years, and we express our gratitude for their generous support,” remarked Tigers CEO Shane Richardson. “Throughout the ups and downs, their unwavering commitment has been instrumental in our journey.”

The law firm initially joined forces with the club at the beginning of the 2015 NRL season before ascending to the role of major sponsor in 2016. Their departure leaves a void in the Tigers’ sponsorship portfolio, signaling the need for a new major sponsor for the 2025 NRL season and beyond.

Despite the loss of Brydens Lawyers, the Wests Tigers remain bolstered by the continued support of their remaining major sponsors: Zurich Insurance, McDonald’s, Pepper Money, and Allied Express. These partnerships underscore the resilience and stability of the club as they navigate through this transitional period.

As the Wests Tigers embark on the search for a new major sponsor, they do so with a legacy of gratitude towards Brydens Lawyers for their decade-long partnership and a steadfast determination to forge ahead towards a prosperous future.
