Shane Wright netted two goals, and Adam Larsson contributed a goal and two assists to lead the Seattle Kraken to a 6-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday.
Matty Beniers added a goal and an assist as Seattle (30-34-5, 65 points) claimed the season series 2-1-0 against Chicago, rallying with six unanswered goals after initially falling behind 2-0. In the first game of a four-game road trip, the Kraken earned their third win in the last four games (3-0-1).
Jordan Eberle and Jared McCann also scored for Seattle, Andre Burakovsky recorded two assists, and Joey Daccord made 26 saves in the win.
Chicago (20-39-9, 49 points) is on a five-game losing streak (0-4-1), marking their fourth skid of that length this season. The Blackhawks have not yet lost six consecutive games.
Tyler Bertuzzi registered a goal and an assist for Chicago, while Connor Bedard also scored, and Spencer Knight made 24 saves.
The Blackhawks took a 2-0 lead in the first period. Bedard opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 3:46, as his wrist shot deflected off Daccord and into the net.
Bertuzzi scored at 17:13, tipping in a shot from Alex Vlasic for his first goal since January 20.
The Kraken responded just 31 seconds later when Larsson fired a quick shot past Knight, assisted by Beniers.
Seattle tied the game 5:55 into the second period when Eberle, left unguarded in the slot, received a pass from Chandler Stephenson behind the net and beat Knight.
McCann quickly gave the Kraken the lead 26 seconds later, receiving a cross-ice pass from Burakovsky in the neutral zone and scoring from the high left circle.
