Last Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were informed by Liam Coen that he would be stepping back from his pursuit of a head coaching job and returning as the team’s offensive coordinator. However, within 24 hours, Coen decided to accept the head coaching role with the Jacksonville Jaguars instead.
This left the Buccaneers searching for a new offensive coordinator. After interviewing several candidates, the team focused on their top choice by Friday.
According to multiple reports, the Bucs have promoted passing game coordinator Josh Grizzard to offensive coordinator, marking the highest role of his coaching career. This will be Tampa Bay’s fourth offensive coordinator in as many years.
