The New Orleans Saints may be losing another key member of their 2024 coaching staff, as quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko has been granted permission to interview with the Seattle Seahawks. This follows shortly after offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak made a lateral move to join the Seahawks, and Janocko could be looking to do the same.
ESPN’s Katherine Terrell also reported that while the Saints are eager to keep Janocko, they’ve been allowing more coaches to interview for lateral positions as they close in on a new head coach. Some position coaches had been waiting to see if Darren Rizzi would be named the permanent head coach.
Losing Janocko would be a tough setback for the Saints, who have already undergone significant changes. However, it’s understandable, as the new head coach will likely want to bring in their own staff to ensure the team’s success. This could mean the Saints will need to find a new coach to manage the quarterbacks once again this offseason as the situation unfolds.
