He will be joined by two of his Seahawks teammates, Devon Witherspoon and Leonard Williams, with Williams earning a spot on the NFC roster on Monday.

Smith-Njigba had a standout second season, with his role growing significantly. He finished the year with 1,130 yards, six touchdowns, and tied Tyler Lockett’s single-season franchise record with 100 receptions.

Fellow receiver DK Metcalf, who recognized Smith-Njigba as a “rising star,” praised his strong season and work ethic. Metcalf emphasized, “Jax has had a great season, and rightfully so. He’s worked hard to get here and hasn’t let the success go to his head. He continues to come in every day, striving to improve for the next game and season.” Smith-Njigba’s breakout performance has certainly drawn attention, and his future in the league looks promising.
