On Tuesday, Nick Abrams announced he received an offer from Alabama football.
A linebacker prospect from McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Maryland, Abrams is a four-star recruit for the 2026 class according to several recruiting platforms. The junior is thankful for the opportunity to earn an offer from the Crimson Tide.
“It means everything to me,” Abrams shared. “It’s not just another chance to play college football and continue pursuing the game I love. It’s also the opportunity to play at Alabama, the pinnacle of college football. It shows me that the effort I’ve put in behind the scenes is starting to pay off.”
A visit to Alabama is something Abrams is currently considering. Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 210 pounds, Abrams is a tall linebacker with the ability to play in space and make impactful open-field tackles. His athleticism and skillset align with the type of linebacker that college coaches are currently seeking.
“My versatility—being able to rush the passer and dominate in the run game—sets me apart,” Abrams explained to Touchdown Alabama. “I can cover sideline to sideline, drop into coverage, break up passes, and even intercept the ball.”
