The Carolina Panthers have bolstered their practice squad by signing former first-round pick Caleb Farley. Farley, originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans at No. 22 overall in 2021, has struggled with injuries throughout his NFL career. Over two seasons, the former Virginia Tech cornerback appeared in just 12 games.

His rookie campaign was cut short after three games due to a torn ACL, and a back injury limited him in his second year, eventually leading to surgery. Farley missed the entire 2023 season while on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Despite his injury history, the Panthers are giving the 25-year-old another chance to showcase the first-round talent that saw him grab six interceptions in his college career.
Farley was back on the practice field on Wednesday, aiming to revive his promising career in Carolina.
