The Carolina Panthers announced on Wednesday that they have added rookie wide receiver Sam Pinckney to their practice squad.

Pinckney went undrafted out of Coastal Carolina in April but later signed a rookie contract with the Panthers. He was waived multiple times during the summer.
Throughout his six-year collegiate career, Pinckney played in 59 games, recording 256 receptions for 3,691 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.
