The Los Angeles Chargers announced on Monday that they have added CB Shaun Wade and WR Dez Fitzpatrick to their practice squad, while releasing WR Cornelius Johnson and OLB Andrew Farmer II.

Shaun Wade, 25, was selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft after playing at Ohio State. He initially signed a four-year contract worth $3,797,564, including a $317,564 signing bonus.
The Ravens traded Wade to the Patriots in 2021 in exchange for a 2022 seventh-round pick and a 2023 fifth-round pick. However, New England released him after the preseason.
During his college career, Wade tallied 91 total tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), and 18 pass defenses over 32 games.
In the 2023 season, Wade played in 14 games for the Patriots, starting in six, and recorded 23 tackles and one pass breakup.
