The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for their Week 1 NFL 2024 season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, but they’ll be missing wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown due to a preseason injury.
Despite his absence from the field, Brown recently spoke with Chiefs Wire about NFL Rivals, an officially licensed video game from the National Football League and NFL Players Association. Brown drew comparisons between NFL Rivals and a classic mid-2000s game.
“NFL Rivals is an arcade-style football game,” Brown said. “It’s fast-paced and enjoyable. You have a gym where you can build up your team and play, and it’s mobile, which adds to its appeal. It’s similar to NFL Street in its arcade-style fun, letting you build your squad and manage your team like a general manager.”
When asked if fans should add him to their virtual teams, Brown confirmed, “Yes, definitely add me to your squad.”
NFL Rivals is free to play and has seen over 5 million downloads and 115 million games played since its release. It’s available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
As Brown recovers, don’t miss out on adding him to your virtual roster and follow his journey with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid’s offense.
