The New York Giants made several roster changes on Monday as they gear up for their preseason finale against the New York Jets.

The Giants signed defensive tackle Kyler Baugh, linebacker Trey Kiser, and defensive back Clayton Isbell. To make room, they waived/injured defensive lineman Ryder Anderson and wide receiver Dennis Houston, while placing offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste on injured reserve.

Baugh, who initially signed with the New Orleans Saints after going undrafted in April, played 10 snaps in their first preseason game before being waived last week. The 6-foot-2, 305-pound defensive lineman started his college career at Houston Baptist before transferring to Minnesota, where he played 26 games over two seasons, recording 77 tackles, four sacks, seven tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and four passes defensed. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention both years.

Kiser, who spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason, played three seasons at South Alabama, contributing on both defense and special teams. In his senior year, he started 12 of 13 games, amassing 68 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 9.5 tackles for loss, earning All-Sun Belt Conference Honorable Mention. He began his college career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College, where he was the only first-team all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference selection as a freshman.

Isbell, who signed with the Carolina Panthers after going undrafted in April, started his collegiate career at Illinois State, where he earned second-team All-MVFC honors in 2021. He later transferred to Utah and played 14 games in 2022 before using an extra year of eligibility at Coastal Carolina. In his super senior season, Isbell recorded 89 tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass breakups, earning third-team All-Sun Belt honors.

Anderson spent the 2023 season on the Giants’ practice squad after appearing in seven games with two starts as a rookie in 2022. He exited Saturday’s game against the Texans with a hamstring injury. Houston and Cajuste also spent most of the 2023 season on the Giants’ practice squad.
