Recently, Clemson University’s football program has been successfully recruiting top-tier talent for its upcoming classes. Led by head coach Dabo Swinney, the Tigers are set to welcome an impressive 2025 class and are actively building their roster for 2026.
One standout prospect in the 2026 recruiting cycle is Storm Miller, the younger brother of current Clemson offensive tackle Blaker Miller. Storm, a highly regarded four-star linebacker, has garnered attention from the Tigers, receiving an official offer from the program. Reflecting on his journey, Storm expressed how his brother’s experience at Clemson has deeply influenced him.
“Having my brother go through the recruiting process at Clemson, I’ve been visiting there almost every year for nearly four years now. It truly feels like a second home,” Storm shared. “So, receiving that offer from Coach Swinney meant a lot to me. He doesn’t hand out offers lightly, so it was a surreal moment – almost like a ‘we made it’ feeling, especially because of my brother’s connection to the program. It was super cool.”
Storm also discussed his brother’s reaction to his Clemson offer, noting, “He was incredibly proud of me. He’s seen me perform at camps and believes I can excel there. He’s not pushing me towards Clemson specifically; he wants me to make my own decision. But Clemson will definitely be a strong contender when I make my choice.”
What makes Clemson particularly interested in Storm? According to him, it’s his aggressive playing style and physicality. “Coach Goodwin appreciates my intensity on the field and my speed, which I’ve been working hard to improve,” Storm explained. “Those qualities are crucial. You can teach a lot in football, but natural aggressiveness, speed, and a strong football IQ – those are harder to coach.”
While Clemson holds a significant allure for Storm, he is also fielding offers from other top programs like Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Kentucky. However, his familiarity with Clemson, coupled with his brother’s positive experience within the program, gives the Tigers a distinct advantage in his recruitment process.
