The new coaching staff at Kentucky has extended another scholarship offer for the 2025 class, this time to Eric Reibe, a 4-star, 7-foot center from Potomac (Md.) Bullis School. Reibe announced the offer on social media Tuesday, stating, “After a great Zoom call with Coach Pope and staff, I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky. Go Big Blue.”
Reibe (7-0, 235 lbs) recently saw a significant rise in the 247Sports rankings for 2025, moving up nearly 100 spots from No. 134 to No. 48 overall. His performance at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando contributed to this jump. According to 247Sports national recruiting analyst Travis Branham, Reibe has been attracting attention throughout the high school season and showcased his abilities at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. Branham noted, “At 7-feet, 235-pounds, Reibe’s size and frame are impressive, but it’s his skill that sets him apart. He has excellent hands and touch, can score with various post moves, and is effective from mid-range. Players with Reibe’s combination of size and skill are increasingly valuable in college basketball.”
Reibe’s recruitment is heating up, with heavy interest from Creighton, Oregon, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, and Indiana. Since the NBPA Top 100 Camp, he has received offers from Florida State, Washington, and Kentucky. UConn, UCLA, and Arizona have also shown interest. He has an official visit to Oregon scheduled for August 2.
Reibe joins several other recent scholarship offerees from Kentucky, including Braylon Mullins (No. 24 overall), Nate Ament (No. 7 overall), Acaden Lewis, Niko Bundalo (No. 25 overall), and Chris Cenac (No. 15 overall). New Kentucky coach Mark Pope has nearly filled 12 of his 13 scholarships but is actively working on building the 2025 recruiting class.
On the football front, Mark Stoops and his staff have been hosting several top prospects for official visits, aiming to secure their 13th consecutive top-40 recruiting class.
