Auburn soccer and head coach Karen Hoppa proudly announced the addition of transfer forward Jordyn Crosby to the program on Monday.
“We are so very excited to announce Jordyn’s signing,” Hoppa said. “She is a proven goal-scorer at the highest level and is extremely dynamic on and off the ball. She will be an exciting addition to our offense!”
Crosby joins the Tigers as a sophomore, transferring from Santa Clara University. She will be immediately eligible for the upcoming fall season.
During her freshman year with the Broncos, Crosby made a significant impact. Santa Clara posted a 14-5-1 record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Crosby played in all 21 matches, netting five goals, three of which were game-winners against Oregon State, Washington, and Portland. Her impressive performance earned her a spot on the West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team.
Crosby, a standout at Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, was an honor roll member, all-academic player, and Team MVP. In her senior year, she was voted the squad’s most valuable attacker. She also showcased her skills at the club level with NC Courage and United Futbol Academy.
Auburn soccer will kick off its 26th season under Hoppa in early August, with a full schedule to be announced at a later date. Crosby’s addition promises to bring a new level of excitement and talent to the Tigers’ offense as they prepare for the upcoming season.
