The Tigers have bolstered their roster for the upcoming 2024 season with the addition of former SMU offensive tackle Marcus Bryant, a Round Rock, Texas native. Bryant, who stands at 6-8 and weighs 318 pounds, played in 13 games last season for the Mustangs, primarily at left tackle. Despite being a low-ranked 3-star recruit in the class of 2020, Bryant garnered significant interest in the transfer portal, receiving offers from TCU, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Washington, and others. Although he was initially predicted to commit to Washington, Bryant ultimately chose to join the Tigers. This move adds depth to Missouri’s offensive line, which also saw the acquisition of former 4-star recruit Cayden Green to play right tackle. Additionally, the Tigers brought in talented freshmen, including 3-star tackle Ryan Jostes and 3-star JUCO product Jayven Richardson, in the previous recruiting class. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz has been actively exploring options in the spring transfer portal, with interest in former TCU defensive tackle Damonic Williams, who is generating considerable attention in the portal.
