Newly acquired Los Angeles Rams cornerback Tre’Davious White made a notable shift from the Buffalo Bills to the sunny shores of LA. Securing a one-year contract valued at $8.5 million, with potential incentives boosting it to $10 million, White, a 5’11”, 192-pound talent hailing from LSU, is currently recovering from an Achilles injury sustained during a Buffalo Bills game against the Miami Dolphins last fall.
In an interview with Sarah Barshop of ESPN, White shared his reasons for choosing the Rams, highlighting a significant conversation he had with head coach Sean McVay. “I felt like it was a good fit,” White commented. “We hit it off, it was very authentic, which is what I was looking for, being a guy that had been in the league for a while. Great staff, young group, a group of guys that’s willing to work, so I’m looking forward to it.”
Describing the Rams’ approach as “very transparent” and “authentic,” White expressed confidence in their rehabilitation plan, particularly concerning his Achilles injury. Coincidentally, White’s Achilles surgery last year was performed by Rams team doctor Neal ElAttrache, who assured him of a full recovery with dedicated effort and a supportive team.
While White refrained from specifying his return date, he hinted at positive progress during his time with the Rams, indicating that he was “on a good track to get going.”
