As a token of appreciation for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Members, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are extending an invitation for complimentary entry to their Round 7 and 9 home matches at Accor Stadium.
Although the Bulldogs will be on a bye during the NRL’s ANZAC Round (Round 8), ADF/DVA Members are warmly welcomed to attend the Bulldogs’ upcoming games against the Newcastle Knights and Wests Tigers, with two complimentary tickets available per Member per match. CEO Aaron Warburton conveyed the Club’s profound respect for those who have served our country:
“At the Bulldogs, we hold immense respect for our service personnel and their families. While we won’t be playing during the ANZAC Round this year, we are committed to honoring those who currently serve, those who have served particularly during wartime, and of course, remembering our fallen soldiers with various activities throughout the week.”
Warburton further stated, “We traditionally offer complimentary access to ADF and DVA Members during ANZAC Round and wanted to extend this gesture to invite them to join us and enjoy an afternoon of football, despite not playing in the Round this year. It’s one small way of giving back to our country’s service men and women and saying thank you.” ADF and DVA Members are encouraged to reach out to the Club to redeem their complimentary tickets for the matches.
The Bulldogs’ next home game is against the Newcastle Knights on Sunday, April 21, at Accor Stadium, commencing at 2:00 pm AEST. Subsequently, they will face the Wests Tigers at Accor Stadium for Round 9 on Saturday, May 4, with kick-off at 3:00 pm AEST.
