Last season, the Miami Dolphins showcased their upward trajectory, boasting one of the league’s top offenses and a formidable defense, affirming their status as contenders moving forward.
With Tua Tagovailoa excelling at quarterback and superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill bolstering the downfield threat, alongside Raheem Mostert’s strong performance in the backfield, the Dolphins are poised for success. As they enter the NFL offseason, every move becomes pivotal for their immediate future.
Despite a solid defense in the previous season, the Dolphins faced concerns, particularly after losing star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. To address this gap, the team recently secured defensive tackle Teair Tart on a one-year deal, previously with the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans.
While Tart’s career stats of 79 tackles and 2.5 sacks may not be groundbreaking, his addition underscores Miami’s commitment to maintaining defensive strength for the upcoming season. Alongside Tart, the Dolphins have made notable signings in free agency, including safety Jordan Poyer, cornerback Kendall Fuller, and linebackers Jordyn Brooks and Shaq Barrett.
